The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) has released a draft of its Comprehensive Plan, which sets the framework for the city's development over the next 20 years.

How will the proposed plan impact Northeast Portland - how we live, work and get around?

In August and September, Nan Stark, NE District Liaison for BPS, will hold workshops and one-on-one office hours to review the plan with neighbors, answer questions and receive comments and suggested plan revisions. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about how to use the online Map App.

Below are four opportunities near you to ask questions, comment and view the maps and significant projects of the draft plan that guides growth, change and improvements over the next 20 years!

·         Monday August 25: North Portland library, 512 N Killingsworth, 4-6 pm office hours in computer lab; 6:30 pm Map presentation in meeting room

·         Wednesday September 10: CNN LUTC meeting, 4415 NE 87th Ave. Map presentation (approx. 7:30 pm)

·         Thursday September 11: Hollywood Library, 4040 NE Tillamook St., 6 pm Map presentation in meeting room

·         Tentative: Thursday September 18: Rose City Park, Hollywood and other NA’s along Sandy Blvd: time and location TBD

There will be additional events coming up in NE so stay tuned!
